Whats the best comic book story/story arc you have ever read?

All of it but I have a particular love of the Worlds End storyline.

 

YES YES YES (in that Harry Met Sally kind of way)

 

also, the Ronin 6 issue mini series is an escape fantasy that knocked me over.

 

and have to put the X-Men series up to the Death of Phoenix in there as well.

 

Single best story, one issue and done? Daredevil 191, although it can be read without the whole Bullseys / Elektra story line from the previous 20 issues, they do help to understand the climax. The storyline in that issue, the art and the way it moved, for me, was incredible.

A friend and I were talking about the best story/story arc we have ever read. He selected Watchmen and I selected Daredevil Born again. So it got me wondering, whats the best story/story arc you have ever read?

 

Bone: One Volume. Hands down the best I've ever read. In terms of sheer excellence from start to finish, nothing else I've ever read comes close as a complete story.

Thor #337-354 - No brainer here.

Have to say the Blackest Night arc could be the greatest of all-time the way its going.
