Grade check please

Little help here...not sure whether this is a keeper or not.....

 

The back cover looked better in the dark shop....that's a production crease towards the bottom left,..not a pen mark

It looks to me like a 9.0.

It was looking like a 9.0 to 9.2 but........as you pointed out......that there back cover bit you in the behind!!!!

I am thinking 8.5 at least. Whatever's on the back cover, doesn't effect the grade as much as if it were on the front cover.

I agree with Ninanina re: the back cover... a little Wonder Breading might help both the front and the back, IMO. (Front looks a tad "dusty" to use the technical terminology )

 

I'd go 8.5 to 9.0 as is...

i'm thinking in the 8.5 range on this one. could probably be fixed up a tad and pull a 9.0 IMO.

 

nice book by the way - lokks like reprints of older issues?? i recall that water and guns one from right around 1965.............right after the "new-look" batman.
