Not knowing if you were facecious (sp?), take the case of Four Color 386. It will be listed under Four Color at 386 as well as under Uncle Scrooge, # 1 a.k.a. Four Color 386, as well as 456 (# 2) and 495 (# 3) before it becomes its own title: Uncle Scrooge # 4.

I keep a spreadsheet where all books are IDed by feature as -

Let us know if you have any questions. A thread where we can inform some one in General is a breath of fresh air.

Btw, the reason I keep a count of how Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck or Zorro issues there are is so that I keep track of how many of those I have in the next column as below. I can see I am good on Bugs but low on Oswald and finished The Two Musketeers.

Name Count Have

Mickey Mouse 30 15

Donald Duck 29 16

Bugs Bunny 28 20

Zane Grey 27 18

Porky Pig 26 10

Guessing that top 10 would be a stumper for most people. Zane Grey? :o

hint the early Barks Four Color Donald Ducks are worth a bundle ;)

True, but some of the later Barks ducks are surprisingly cheap compared to some of the four colors based on movies and TV shows. I assume the print runs on the duck issues were a lot higher.

Well, in the Guide yes, those movie and TV shows FCs are high but therefore since OSPG estimated demand is out of step with actual demand, they end up languishing in dealers' boxes at those inflated prices ...

There are ton of sweet 1st appearances that if they showed up in decent shape and slabbed would do quite well. I found the 1st hanna-Barbera comic (Ruff and Reddy FC #937) right here on the Boards. :cloud9:

Absolutely (thumbs u The # 9 referred to is also Second Series.

Way to go, The_Boys!

Most people can't get Scrooge to admit that Series 1 actually exists.
