Plastic Man 44...

Has a 1/8 tear at the bottom of the spine and a 1/4 tear at the bottom of the

back cover. The staples are a little recessed but still attached.

Fine- (5.5) white pages! (Is that tight grading or what!?!?)

This book is a reprint of Plastic Man #25 with a new cover and minus the Angus story. Amazing to me how long Plas lasted after Cole had gone (issue #26) The Mr. Aqua story is pretty cool.

Here are three odd items from a collection I picked up this morning.

First off, a coverless copy of Amazing Fantasy 15...

There is some slight wear on the spine, and a piece of tape towards the bottom of the spine, but all wraps are tightly attached at the staples. Complete other than that silly cover.

Fantastic Four #2...

The bottom edge has been trimmed. Otherwise a nice, solid vg copy with off-white pages.

No other restoration.

Avengers #1...

There is color touch in the green of Loki along the spine, a little blue at the top staple, and a little more blue above the price square. It definitely amateur as there is some bleed through, but at least the colorist could keep it in the lines.

Otherwise there are a few little chips here and there evident in the scans.

I'd say the book is in gvg (restored) with off-white pages.

I'd be all over the Wonder Woman 45 (white pages, aye carumba!) - it's a great issue - but you already sold me one a few years ago!

 

Not to mention the Centaur (Funny Pages 3/7) with the classic Gustavson Arrow cover.

 

I'm in the minority to be sure, but I'd rather have a slightly trimmed book (Fantastic Four #2) than one that's beat to death - that's a pretty copy.

 

And you already know that I love the March of Comics 41.
