World's Finest #70...

wf70b.jpg

This is one of the very tough to find in grade 68 page issues.

There is a 1 1/2 tear at the bottom of the back cover but otherwise this is a really

tight book. A couple of small color breaking surface creases on the front, two small stress line on the spine.

Even with the tear I am going to grade this a fine + (6.5).

The page are off-white to white. There are not many nicer copies of this book out there.

SOLD!

you are responsible for me cracking up everytime i see a cover like this. I automatically think, "Timely heroes, storming castles and rescuing damsels from sadistic Nazis, DC heroes getting a shoeshine." :roflmao:

But the DC guys did get their shoes shined in a very heroic way.

If I was a basketball recruiter I'd sign Robin up for the wingspan he'd have when he grew up...

No surprise that the WF #70 sold. I don't even collect the title, and I almost grabbed it.

In that grade it is a tough, tough book. I'm happy for the guy that bought it.

agreed... the majority of my run is vgish, with a sprinkling of higher grades... not only are they scarce, but they are down right "rare" in anything above vg

nice pick up for whomever... If I had the change, I would have added it to my collection just to cost average lol

I have listed some on our web-site ( www.xxxxxx.com ) in the new arrivals section.

JC is just trying to find stuff to whine about here. He conveniently left out this part from Rich's post,

But I saved a few of the cooler books to post here first.

... which, when combined with the portion I underlined above (and JC must not understand) means Richie is doing just fine by the rules. Go find somewhere else to troll little boy.

Nope, no matter how you try and twist the wording, that rule's purpose was to insure dealers don't just list list books on here, so that they can post a free ad for their website.

If the books are actually on another website, regardless of a link, then the earlier rule would apply:

If the book is offered for sale through another venue (ebay, dealer site, personal web site, etc.) then it should NOT be offered here.
