The_Captain
I enjoy how relaxed and easy this cover looks. I really appreciate it when traditional, cultural and/ or historic moments are being depicted in comic books. Especially if they're drawn in a non-offensive way. George. Stevenrams
a little d copy upgrade from c'town. Is that an Occupy Wall Street protest circa 1943?
Stevenrams
Just back from CGC. Purchased raw from Blazing Bob who was spot on with the grade and PQ. A board member was selling his Good copy about a month ago and someone beat me to it. Scarce book and classic cover:

archiefan
Has anyone noticed that Fawcett used some Raboy art on the Jr. covers well after Mac had left the company? I was looking at #57 and #59 in particular. The art for #59 was used in the newspaper picture Freddy is holding on the cover of Master Comics #45 so I'm sure that is by Raboy. I don't think it was redrawn either. These must have been leftover covers from their inventory and they a lot different than the artwork for the surrounding issues. zosocane
What I really enjoy about Raboy's superheros is that he didn't make them all steroid-ripped -- they look human. Particularly CMJr., who is basically a teenage superhero. The character looks like a skinny teen with a cape. Really refreshing to see, even after the passage of 70 years. dgarthwaite-migration
I don't have many Golden Age, but I do have these. This is in poor condition. It's complete, but the cover is split all the way down the spine and detached. It only cost me $20, so I'm not complaining. A dealer gave this to me as thanks for hooking him up with a seller who sold him a large golden age collection. DG
