thanks all. I will post the grade whenever CGC get them back to me. I will submit a batch next week and we all will find out in about 80 days

 

I do think this one has a 50/50 chance of getting a 9.6. if the bindery tear wasn't there or the lower right corner was a little sharper, I think the odd would improve significantly but I would be happy with a 9.4. I paid $100 for it back in 2003.

I've seen 9.6's with the corner bindery tear. I have a 9.6 ASM 101 and your book looks better than mine ! However, the pages look a little dark. If the pages are at least OW/W I'll say 9.6 .
