There's usually someone (or two) lurking at the last minute and if they aren't high bid and are willing to pay even just a teeny but more, you could see it jump to $7750 or even higher if there's a few people. Still $1000 over highest previous sales and it raises the 12 month average price $375 to $7125. Not bad, unless you're in market to buy one I guess. I could have had it shipped elsewhere, but I get the creepy crawlies thinking of that slab taking yet one more trip via mail to me from a friend or family member who could care less about comics.
