Well... that's it folks! Wow... Just wow!

 

Please allow me to thank all of you again for being so caring, supportive and generous to a little girl and her struggling parents.

 

Forgive the over-sensitive mushiness, but... this place has an impossible to understand concentration of "good hearts" and "selflessness". What an amazing show of support. I know Josh and Cara are just speechless... and so am I. I'm so appreciative and humbled that so many of you stepped up in such a big way for my family. I've heard from friends that I have not talked to since the earlier days of CGC certification and the advent of these boards. Very few here *ever* forget a friend in need.

 

Please go out tomorrow and do something nice for yourself... (since I can't just yet... but WILL when the opportunity presents itself). You have made a HUGE difference in the life of a brave little girl who has to deal with so much. I know most of you that participated are parents yourselves... and can really *understand* this situation fully. Those of us, thankfully with healthy kids, can only imagine how utterly awful it must feel to see your child battle against one of life's unfair surprises... wishing and willing to do anything to take it away from them. Some here actually do know... and shared that with me... and gave generously. You all "get it". You made that quite clear. Quite clear indeed.

You're not taking into account Round 1 of the auction (Lots 1-4) and all the straight donations too. All tolled, the final donation tally should be around $4500ish. Just a staggering amount really. Thank you too.
