What's the Best OnLine Postage Option?

32 posts in this topic

Did a little research on online postage & would like to know what board members are using between Click-N-Ship, Stamps.com, Endicia, etc? Would be shipping between 5-20 boxes a week & would want to be able to ship media mail. User friendly, best pricing or other benefits?

Thanks,

Mark

Yeah, the media mail exclusion was the deal breaker on the click n ship. I've been reading online & the paypal system seems to be popular, but I assume you would need the deal to go through paypal for that to be usable. Heard decent stuff on endicia also, so may give them a try.

I never considered paypal due to the % you had to pay them, versus the discount the PO gives on line...

but, I don't ship media mail and when I have to send something international first class, I just goto my local PO...

use the paypal multi order shipping option to ship 1st class or media

original deal does not have to have been paid through paypal either

Or ... use this handy-link Paypal link for shipping individual packages (that aren't tied to a PP transaction or where paid for by a personal PP payment, for instance):

No, not when using paypal, in fact they match the click n ship prices.

Wait, let me edit. Yes you need to use some cash from your paypal balance but there are no additional fees for using paypal to pay for shipping, it is a great plus as there are more online payment options.

so if you fund from a balance, they don't charge you... good to know

I only keep the balance until payments are in and shipping is done, then it is off to the bank :)
I am more of a transfer out the second it is in, kind of guy...I don't trust them as far as I can throw them (with some of the stories I have heard)... and I pay everything through them via a CC (for my protection)
