Question on double covers,

 

Is it common to find the same book, say hulk 181 with 2x covers AND 3x covers, or is it more likely to find a hulk 181 x2 and say an amazing spider man with 3x covers?

It's not something done on purpose, it's an accident that occurs when the machine stapling the books together grabs multiple covers for some reason. Kind of like if you've ever been using your printer and the feed pulls through two pieces of paper instead of one. So finding a book with a double (or triple or whatever) cover is basically random luck.

Each grade with a blue and yellow CGC label would be saweeeeettt!!!

that was my goal originally, a copy in every grade. in hindsight, i shouldnt have stopped at 9.0 as the value of this book just keeps going up.

 

also, the lower grades <3.0 were hard to come by.

These all yours? Much as i can identify with the need to have as many copies, sometimes its that difference between owning one special perfect copy in pristine Mint and owning many less than satisfactory ones. So its a subtle case of Satisfaction Vs Contentment, as one's collecting mindset starts to evolve

Very nice. I have a similar goal. Currently at 4.5, 5.5, 7.5, 8.5, 9.0, and 9.2 with 8 raws that I'm hoping fill in the gaps if I ever get around to subbing them.

I get a kick any time I see a key issue cross advertised as 'out now'.

 

While reading DD#115 today, on bottom of page 30 found a cross advert for Hulk 181. Thought some in here would be interested.
