High grade 10 Challengers are rare as a hen's teeth, with most issues having 2-4 9+ copies....

While I generally don't chase high grade, I do have some nice copies of tough books. This issue of Strange Adventures has only 4 copies graded above Fine. It's also one of the more uncommon gorilla issues

This issue has a significant variation of color shading across the print run. Some copies have richer tones and others can appear a little washed out.

In my opinion all the variations have their own appeal.

Mine is a very good scanner. Not only does it capture all the colour of a comic, it unfortunately highlights, even magnifies, every tiny flaw that doesn't seem particularly significant looking at the comic in hand.

Spectacular copy. Perhaps the tiniest hint of a corner tick in the upper right hand corner. Not too mention it's a ten center.
