Which Event was Better Blackest Night or Seige

Blackest Night got me reading DC again but the problem is that it's draggggggggggggggggggggggggged on.

 

Siege at least has been interesting and to the point with a lot of action... Although I see they've pushed the last issue - #4, into Mid-May now.

Conversely, Blackest Night sprawls over too many issues and crossovers and has dragged on far too long.

I just saw something pretty awesome in the Thunderbolts Tie-In to Siege. The Spear of Odin falls into some pretty deadly hands. Wow!

well just finished BN Number 8, and.......the ending just seemed like a huge letdown, that story could have been contained in the GL Books and made 4 issues long, just was hoping for a more better ending, But seems these "Event" stories seem to fizzle at the end

you don't need to read any of the crossovers though. green lantern and blackest night is all you need.
