Hey gang, as many of you know I have been slowly selling off portions of my personal collection because I have gotten into the business of selling comics for a living. I really wish I could keep them all but unfortunately, at this point in my life I can't. I am for this reason offering this book up for sale. This is a really tough book to find unrestored. It was the last book I needed for my run when I was putting it together. This particular book is the CGC 5.0 sale (and only sale in that grade) listed on GPA at $5676 last August. In fact there are only 9 recorded sales (one in each grade) total for this particular issue. The book has no qualifiers on the label and is a blue label completely unrestored (unpressed from what I can see) CGC 5.0 oww pages. The book has been deslabbed so that I could enjoy the interiors but comes with the CGC label and I have little doubt that the book would slab a 5.0 again if you should so choose to do so. I was really picky with my personal collection and for that reason it sports spectacular eye appeal for the grade, along with really nice off white to white page quality. Timely books from the early 40's are really tough to find with nice PQ. My asking price is $5700 shipped for this wonderful piece of Comic Book history.

Awesome book. Wish I had the $$$, as it would look lovely next to the 12 I got from you.

 

Goodness I wish I didn't have to sell that book. When I make my first $1MIL I'll be throwing silly money at that book to get it back.

The logical conclusion to this would be that this cover scene reflects his first "experience" and that explains the legless hairy were-dwarf. It's a fetish thing. It all makes sense now.
