Hi guys. Been up reading this thread for a while. I'm new so take it easy :-) I have a few points of view to offer on the CGG/CGC discussion.

1st, consider the fact that CGG's business model is really no one's business except their's. Correct? Why kick someone in the arse when they are already trying to get up. If you want to be constructive do the RIGHT thing and contact them personally with corrective critisicm, I have had numerous issues with CGC but spoke directly to them about it instead of posting it to the world. That's the right thing to do.

2nd, is the fact that CGC makes mistakes going to go unchecked? With big $$, an army of employees, financial backing that could run the US military (well sort of) blah blah blah there should be no room for error. And yet they happen. I have had my more than fair share, and you have only mentioned one or two.

3rd, if the PVC problem is "officially" not a problem, why not offer a retraction or apology for damaging their credit?

4th, if their books are getting undergraded, does this not provide a FANTASTIC service to the buyer of CGG graded books? I would then rather buy a 9.4 from CGG than from CGC, as the book is probably a nicer copy! From a collector's point of view, this is the way to go.

5th, I have used both companies and will continue to do so. Each has it's benefits. Most people that do not use CGC, have done so because of the wait. I would gladly have my books back in 3 weeks (even if late), then 2-4 months.

Competition is healthy, but let's be fair.
