When I first busted out of the mainstream Marvel and DCs I was reading in the late 80's and early 90's, Frazetta, Williamson, and Wood were the holy triumvirate for me.

 

This is a very sad day. RIP Frank.

wow, truly sad news. Frank was such an inspiration to me growing up.

Frank had a cynical view of his own demise. He was a remarkable talent and I hope he will be remembered as the great artist that he was.
