An incredible piece of history, at least to me, recently came into my possession. A customer at my old shop in New Orleans had visited the DC offices back in the 70s or 80s and was able to get his copy of Showcase 4 signed and inscribed to him by Carmine Infantino, Joe Kubert and Julius Schwartz. First two signed on the cover and Julie signed on the first page. He was also able to snap a couple pictures of Joe and Julie signing his comic. Super excited to add this historical trio to my collection

This book came into a shop in the Midwest back in the 1980’s. The owner set it aside for his collection.  He’s now aged to the point of letting some books go to move on to the next stage of life. After getting a scent that this book existed in high grade and could be for sale.  I said I’m very interested in seeing it and I’m willing to close the deal. I acquired it through through a friend at a mall show, who brokered it on behalf of the owner who doesn’t travel much.  It’s everything as pictured and it’s a keeper.

One of the Iron-Man #15 variants with the yellow. Going to need the green variant in 9.2 with white pages to bookend the two. Release date on cover only adds to the fun…

So it's the yellow stripe in the upper right of the cover that's also around in green?  Or "Iron Man?"

Yellow strip on top of the Marvel box. Green strip on other copies.

Yes! The label is pants, but if it means I can get it $500 cheaper than another copy that sold just after this one, who cares?
