X-Men #2 with tanning issues

Structurally the book is in great shape. I've not encountered tanning like this before. Thoughts?

The book has numerous structural problems besides the tanning. A couple chips, numerous CB creases, significant surface indentations. I'd have to say 4.0 . In that grade the tanning probably doesn't detract.

Thanks for the link. The degree of tanning looks similar to your Thor, but the X-men book has both front and back cover tanning.

With that large crease on the BC, I'd say 4.0 anyway, regardless of the tanning...that said, with that amount of tanning, had it structurally been a FN, it would knock it down to a 4.0 (or maybe 4.5) with that much tanning...

Good question. The cover is not brittle at all. The pages are white/off white and are normal/not brittle.

6.0 for structure, but the tanning will hammer it down to a 4.0 I've seen that level of tanning on many SA books...this copy was in a warm room for many years...
