Doc Joe copped to being the underbidder on the BP:QOTN #2. When Doc Joe is your underbidder, my prediction is PAIN.

 

As soon as I saw it jump up he was the first person I thought of. Somebody else wanted it that much more!

  • BETTIE PAGE: QUEEN OF THE NILE #3 CGC 9.8 NM/MT $80

 

:o What am I missing here? $238 for #2? 21 bids, 5 of them were over $150... (shrug)

 

 

 

 

How do the census numbers compare between the issues?

  • BETTIE PAGE: QUEEN OF THE NILE #2 - 7 graded, 6 in 9.8
     
  • BETTIE PAGE: QUEEN OF THE NILE #3 - 8 graded, 5 in 9.8

 

 

Doc Joe copped to being the underbidder on the BP:QOTN #2. When Doc Joe is your underbidder, my prediction is PAIN.

 

There's the sad tale of throwing a bid at a book when you have to be at work before the sale ends. :insane: On the other hand... I will be in the #1 position by a decent margin as soon as these come in :D

Well, apparently you weren't the only one who had to place an "I had to be at work" bid. 5 bid over $150 for the #2.

 

Congrats. We'll be looking up at your for at least a short period... ;)
