Why is the Overstreet guide so late this year?

I was wondering when the damn thing was coming out, and found out it's not until July 28. If memory serves me, he book is typically released in May. Anybody know why it's so late this year?

They timed it to come out for the San Diego Con.

I don't know the details but I've heard they are going to make a major announcement at SD con this year.

"Major announcement" + Overstreet guide = Going online?

Major announcement + late guide = tough economic times.

Just looked back through my preorders. Looks like it was solicited for March release this year.

was solicited by Diamond as a July 28th release from the get go (shrug)

My bad, it's in with my March release orders but was an early solicitation.
