Brandon Routh (Superman Returns)

Scott Bakula

Paul Jenkins

All recent announcements.

Oh :o

Looks like I'm going to say goodbye to my money :ohnoez:

I'm not trying to be funny or ugly. Who is Paul Jenkins? I know the name, but can't come up with anything.

(shrug)

He's a comic book writer.

He wrote Wolverine:The Origin mini-series

and he created the Sentry

Thanks! I'm not a big Wolvie fan, but I do know the Sentry!

He wrote the amazing Inhumans mini from 10 years ago.

Was that the one with art by Jae Lee?

:news: Don't leave out Koi Turnbull and Larry Elmore who were recently added!

Sorry, once again I'm left out..... (shrug)

Koi Turnball is a really nice guy who started working at Aspen under Michael Turner. He pumped out Fathom, volume 2, month after month, and just got better every month. I believe he got some work at DC after that. I haven't seen Koi at a lot of shows, so for the Aspen completists out there, this is a great opportunity.

Larry Elmore is a fantasy artist who's done a lot of comic covers, a lot of work for titles like Dragonlance and the like. Gorgeous stuff... He's got his own website (larryelmore.com) if you want to see examples.

Oh, and Paul Jenkins not only did a lot of Marvel work, like Wolverine: The Origin, and Spider-Man series with Humberto Ramos, but he's done a lot of work for companies like Top Cow (Darkness, Witchblade, etc.) , Dark Horse (Revelations), and I think he wrote the Hulk video game from a year or two ago. Paul hasn't been to a lot of shows, but he's local to Dragon*Con, so even I'm thinking of getting some books ready for him to sign. :) Plus he's great to talk to, a VERY nice creator.

Is Tom Savini appearing at the Con this year? I recall someone here saying he was coming, but he's not included on the guest list.
I don't see him listed anywhere, but I hope he is there! :headbang:
