Before anyone asks, I do not believe that the mark at the top of the cover on the first issue posted is tape pull. I think it could've happened when the book was stained. Looks more like a rub off than anything else.

 

Tape pull generally leaves behind fibers of paper sticking up as most of you probably are aware and this does not have that. That area of the book is smooth to the touch.
