I know it's not a Silver Age book, but I don't recall Julius Schwartz (RIP) announcing on Huntley & Brinkley: "Comic collectors! The Golden Age is no more. I am officially declaring the arrival of the Silver Age of Comics"!

 

This cover was ingeniously designed to appear to young males on many levels!

thank you. i like odd-ball stuff. i mean we all have 10-15 copies near mint of amazing fantasy #15. they get boring to look at after a while. theres no real long term value in books like that but jigsaw #1. now that book could send your kids through college :grin:

 

that soupy sales book took me years to find in that grade and i wish it was a higher grade. mid 60s was a good time for bad comics. it really paved the way for all the junk of the 1980s-90s.

 

i have a few more i'll post.
