When I was a kid we bought stacks of the "new" Kirby DC's thinking we would sell them and retire rich someday.

Glad we didn't count on that plan.

 

Reminds me of the Valiant years! Note to self: don't buy 10 copies of Turok #1.

on the flip side, i feel bad for the seller. he/she took a lot of pictures, etc. and is probably going to wind up losing money on the whole deal even if she/he found the comics in the garbage. as it looks like most of his/her auctions will wind up in the 10/20 cent range, he/she will either simply throw out old comics in the future or maybe put 2 and 2 together and start the auctions for a bit more.

 

with that said, the cost to YOU for those 4 comics was 82 cents each.

I won a CGC 9.6 copper ASM (268 I think) for 99c

 

and the seller didn't scalp on the shipping either.

 

 

 

That is probably close 2 FMV for ASM 268 cgc 9.6 given the increase in the amount of asm copper slabs from 2005 till 2010. lol
