Chad Coleman would be awesome as Tyreese. He was phenomenal as Cutty on The Wire.

I'm glad WD, Breaking Bad and Boardwalk Empire came around when they did. They filled a huge hole in my life left by the Wire...god that show was good!

I keep clicking on the link that you posted looking for the official notice that Tyreese is part of the show but I just can't find that info.

I guess I will go and start the unofficial thread. :)

I fail again.. :sorry:

:acclaim:

From May this year:

If the Walking Dead could score Woody to play Abraham he would quickly become the most popular WD character. IMHO

It makes so much sense:

Woody is a classic charismatic badass.

Thinking about it, throw in Rosie Perez as Rosita and... er... Wesley Snipes as Eugene, and you've got a White Men Can't Jump reunion!

While we're on the subject, is there any better potential Tyreese than Chad Coleman (Cutty from The Wire) - he's the right age, the right build, has the right scary intensity. Make it happen AMC:

Have not read the comic but as a fan of zombie movies, really have enjoyed the show. So far season 1 and 2 were better than 3 IMHO.

As much as I like the show, I have to say Kirkman really takes liberty sampling Romero's ideas from the 4 Romero dead movies. Saw the influence of the original trilogy in the first 2 seasons and now the Governor and Woodberry is very reminiscent of Land of the dead(4th installment of the dead series).

Governor equals the Dennis Hopper character who created a safe zone city he controls surrounded by walls and guards. Even the entertainment incorporating zombies and fights was done on Land. The production of the concept may be better in Walking dead but its clearly very similar.

$35/Dlvd on Amazon for the first compendium is about the best bang for your buck that money can buy.
