ebtorres Posted February 10, 2014 Share Posted February 10, 2014 I enjoyed this episode. Hearing Danai Gurira break down her part as Michonne on this episode is pretty cool. It gives it that much validation and understanding of the character's psyche. The Carl/Rick dynamic was very similar to the book, so it's cool seeing that translated to the small screen. Could do with less rick and Carl interaction on the screen, but Carl was right with what he was saying . Slow episode but needed to set everything else up I hope Rick's character is so much weaker for me than in his comic version. I now look at Rick differently than I once did. No to be a debbie downer, but I now expect the season and mid-season premiere's to be this way now. Usually we get all excited, but the 1st episode of the season/mid-season are done in the same lackluster way every time. 2nd episode does look better, I hope as well....
