a couple of years ago where two twins popped out of no where

that ended up being love children of Gwen and Norman.

 

I've always called out BS on that story line...

 

Norman/Green Goblin would have cherished the moment of

letting parker know he did that...

I mean seriously GG would've taunted Spidey as he was holding dead Gwen

with something like:

"I don't know why you are coddling that old hoe like that?

I just got finished hitting that eight ways from sunday."

I thought that storyline was worse than OMD. Completely and utterly unbelievable, even for a comic book!

Ditko and Stan had Gwen as a stuck up girl in those early stories, but I think as time went on through the Romita era she got nicer.

 

That make sense as well, because a lot of teens have issues where they

use a wall of snideness to make up for their lack of confidence/experience in a given situation.

 

Gwen was new to the school and trying to fit in. To do so she followed the pack

in being anti-parker. But as time went on she realized that parker not only was genius

but mysterious in dealing with personal attacks and peer pressure. Almost to the point to

where he was above that.
