One of my coworkers called me today while she was at a yard sale. I missed the call, but she said that the owner of the home had a pile of comics for sale that were 40-50 years old. The batch was $50, so I told her to go ahead and buy them on her way back out of town. So she stopped back by the sale and picked them up.

 

I have no idea what's going to be in there, or even how many there are going to be, but I will post some pictures when I get back. Going to go pick them up from her in a couple of hours....

sorry, 40 years old is 1970, and my prediction is junk. I certainly hope I'm wrong and there's some great books in there, though.

 

I would have also made that purchase sight-unseen.
