Good thing anabolic steroids aren't illegal for Hollywood.

agreed plus I bet a little cgi magic has been at work in here as well ;)

No it hasn't, those aren't shots for the film. I don't see his change as being either unrealistic or necessarily steroid-assisted, he was already thin and in shape, going from there to his current build could easily be done in a few months with some extended gym time. He's not weightlifter-ripped, just above average, he looks like he just went from doing push-ups to actually working with weights, you see dozens of builds like this or far better at just about any gym.

yep, the rite food regimen/diet, and a good nutritionist. he looks like he increased his calorie intake by 300, and less fat in the diet = more lean body tissue.

+1. I see guys like this at my job (in a gym) all the time, and none of them are on 'roids.

You sure? I knew a guy who sold steroids. He told me I would be surprised how many guys at the gym take them for a few cycles to gain a bit of mass then stop. So while not "on them" they have taken them It's not just the big muscle head guys. Gaining mass is not just diet, it's time as well, steroids just speed that up a lot.

Edit- Just want to make sure my post is not implying most guys at the gym are on them, just a higher percentage than people think.

I was commenting on BL's post, that none of the guys at her gym around Chris Evans size take steroids.

Actor's I would guess are like Athletes, some of them take them and some don't. Hopefully Captain America isn't a druggie :o

Besides he is playing Captain America it would not be called steroids, it's Super Soldier serum.

With weights--on and off, mostly off. I'm in good shape from playing basketball, volleyball, and exercise 3-6 times a week, but I'm not currently doing any weight training, although since I have a very similar frame to Chris Evans, seeing him makes me think about getting back into it.

Yea, actually I am. I work at one of those special gyms that's owned by two hospitals that gets to know the members rather well.

Edit: Sometimes too well, like with the dude who likes to smear poop all over the mens locker room.
