Well, at least I don't feel crazy as no one is grading it below a 7.0 as of now and 70% placing it between a 7.0 and 7.5. I'll be curious to see what everyone else thinks.

Whats going on with the upper back cover?

Center top edge has an indentation / bend but it's not a tear. Honestly, it'd probably press out pretty quickly. Additionally, there is some mild dust shadowing along the spine.

Sweet copy dude. (thumbs u Is there a bit of center crease in the "U" of the Hulk logo?

Good eye on that Jon--I'm hesitant to call it a crease though as I'd imagine that to have a hard bend--this has more a wave to it probably due to handling. Very mild starting at the top edge going through but stopping at the end of the "U."

 

The more I keep looking at this book, I'm thinking a pressing would probably solidify this book as a VF or slightly higher. Might get some professional advice on this one first though.

That book has awesome colors! A lot of the hulk 181s have a slightly faded red orange look, but that looks flat out red.

Only the *slightest* tinge of that along the upper edge. I was floored when I saw it out of the polybag as the colors are really nice.

Based on that other 181 that was posted and supposedly got an 8.5, this might as well be a 9.4.

 

I'm going with 7.0; no significant color-breaking, enough signs of wear that exceed "normal reading wear" that are usually associated with 8.0-8.5 copies.
