Hereos was a great superhero TV show in season 1. After that? meh

I agree 100%. It went downhill fast.

My buddy watched it until the end and kept trying to get me back into it. I told him if they would have kept the series simple, it would have worked.

TWD has some potential, but I wouldn't waste the time on the other five.

I prefer Bonanza and Gunsmoke.
Little Joe, Kitty, Marshal Dillon, now you're talking :applause:

But no love for Maverick? ???

I never really watched Maverick. I did watch 1 episode of Gunsmoke and 2 Bonanza episodes today though. :cloud9:

Anybody else thinking....

1) No Ordinary Family is ho-hum.

2) Avengers show is actually pretty good.

3) Will Clone Wars address the span between Episode 3 and 4?

4) Chuck is boring

5) Smallville is soooo lame. Isis possesing Lois? Crazed farmers/Blue Kryptonite? Deadshot dressed like Jonah Hex? Really?

6) Got Walking Dead DVR'd. Gotta finishing watching it.

:bump:

Figured I'd do an update. If anyone cares.

1) DVR'd and not much interest to watch it.

2) I like this show quite a bit.

3) I hope so

4) I only watch it for Sarah Walker

5) Interest is slightly peaked with everything crammed into final episodes.

6) Never read the books, don't care much for zombies, but i watch this with my wife and son. We like it.

7) Human Target just started back up. Got it on the DVR.

8) Waiting for the In-Betweeners to return on BBC America soon.

9) Modern Family and The Middle are great! :roflmao:

"Ordinary Family" is just plain silly.

"Chuck" used to be decent, but now it sucks!

"Avengers" Neat! Like the silver age for GEN-Xer's

"Smallville" Glimpses of goodness blended with heavy syrup.

Agree - "Modern Family" and "The Middle" are great!

Don't forget "Big-Bang Theory" - I mean comics are featured prominently throughout.

Heck, I mean even Stan Lee cameo'd on the show ;)

. . . .oh and "Community" is very cool too.

1. Fringe - winner of this year's Fox Programming Executive HUTA, "Let's move it to Friday night." kiss of death award. :censored:

2. The Walking Dead - Thought I might like it, didn't know I'd love it. Great show.

3. Terriers - Probably the best show that no one is watching. Tim Minear can't catch a break.

4. Supernatural - Without Kripke it's different. Not bad, just different. It's taking some getting used to. Needs more Rufus.

5. When does season 2 of Justified hit the air?

The only show I watch with any consistancy is Boardwalk Empire.

Has that gotten any better?

That show had a real slow start and I fell off waiting for some real action after about the

3rd of 4th episode.

The Walking Dead however was a home run from the first episode and has been

on the edge of your seat entertainment on every show. (#1 It make me wonder if they can keep it up and #2 can they keep the audience excited until the next season)...

This brings up an interesting question in all of TV history, what TV show that

is comic based was the best thing about bring in new readers to the hobby???

My thoughts would be the 60's Batman. Campy as it was, I am sure that it brought

comic book styled entertainment to masses that have never even cracked a comic...

January 28th.

I hope I'm wrong about that "Kiss of Death" thing, but history says otherwise.

Friday is the elephant graveyard of TV shows - where they go to die slowly.

Medium is the most recent candidate that comes to mind.

It's in it's final death knell, having just been cancelled.

I agree, love it to bits. I even think sometimes the action/violence overshadows the psychological games and character development. More dialogue and period references and less gang-warfare :cloud9:

I also watch and like :

The Big Bang Theory

Criminal Minds

Sons of Anarchy

Stargate Universe

Blue Bloods

The Office

Fringe

Walking Dead

The Defenders (which is 100% fluff but it's a guilty pleasure)

CSI

I stopped watching

The Mentalist

Caprica

Sanctuary

because it was boring the out of me

Can't wait for the return of

Entourage

Curb Your Enthusiasm

Men of a Certain Age

Hung

White Collar
