Wilson was notorious for cleaning...just about every book.

 

Right - he doesn't consider a wash to be restoration; CGC disagrees of course.

 

For a number of reasons, World's Finest = World's Worst. :facepalm:

I'm not sure how rare they are, but I've only seen four of these over the years, I've got a Tex Farrell #1, and an Ace 140, Hake's sold a Don Winslow 61 years ago, and I was outbid on a Timely Human Torch many moons ago on e-bay.

 

Parkhurst, a Canadian company has put out sports card and non-sports card bubble gum giveaways over the years, but in 1946 they tried something different, bubble gum comic giveaways.

As you can see the gum has done it's work on the comic over the years.

but I still thought they were a cool find.
