7. The Life of Franklin D. Roosevelt - Had the Chinese issue before, but didn't know the story behind it. This year, found the other four in a lot from a woman's estate who may have worked with FDR. Great WWII US propaganda.

8. Penrod's Boys Almanac - Giveaway digest size comic from Harvey. All Bob Powell and Jack Kirby art.

9. Pett's Annual - Guest artist Illingworth - WWII British booklet with bawdy mix of comics, pinup style paintings and profusely illustrated stories, including a Jekyll and Hyde romp with a prim housewife who transforms into a lewd party girl. Don't know the story behind this booklet, but it's fun.

10. This Godless Communism - Weird black and white pamphlet found with other material from The Christian Anti-Communism Crusade, publishers of The Two Faces Of Communism and Double Talk. Reprints the opening episode of the Treasure Chest series, with Reed Crandall art. Could be a prototype/mock-up/ashcan for a proposed but unpublished stand-alone publication of "This Godless Communism?"
