MY TOP TEN FAVORITE VILLAINS

59 posts in this topic

Yes, I can see it now:

Ultron: Die, organic scum!

Joker: How about a taste of my Joker venom?

Ultron (with disintegrator ray): ZZZZZZAPPP!!!!

Joker: .....

End of story.

Old does not equal great. I think Dr. Doom is better. He has bigger criminal aspirations, is smarter than Joker, and has far greater resources than Joker does. And he kicked the Beyonder's butt once. What would the Joker have done if he had been a Marvel villain and had been put in with the rest of the villains in the Secret Wars battle, aside from look silly?

He would have exposed them to the Joker venom and had a blood bath laugh riot.

That's what makes him and many of the other Batman villains so great. They are actually somewhat believable especially compared to the cosmic beings and robots which can be pretty boring because their powers seem to limitless.

Almost 50 posts and nobody mentioned Ozymandius? You guys suck! mad.gif

At least House had Herr Starr and the Corinthian.

Doom is my favorite (BTW), but Ozymandius deserves a spot on the list.

I also notice that MajorKhaos is missing from many, if not all, of the lists. Surely this will ignite a rage within him that will burn with the heat of a thousand stars... or maybe he'll eat a sandwich.

In no particular order:

Apocalypse (X-Men villain, did I spell that right?)

Dr. Doom

Hobgoblin

Terrax

Durok the Destroyer

Juggernaut

Absorbing Man (battle with the Hulk on Easter Island still gives me shivers).

Magneto (story line of X-Men 112 (classic cover)-113, just awesome. Wolvie almost east his claws).

The Destroyer

Just pick up the local newspaper----there's no shortage of wackos...

Oh--comic villians.... foreheadslap.gif

Since most of my reading is about evil people who get their just deserts in the end, I'd say the villian is in each of us...waiting...to....be....UNLEASHED.
