I like this one too but I can never find the two pieces stuck together.

Just curious, as I have never seen on in hand.

Is it this because they didn't want kids ripping the cover apart so they used as little glue possible to attach the book?

Is the glue known for drying out and simply coming off?

Or did everybody simply take the book off when they bought it and no copies were left still attached.

btw, got a few covers picked out for you last night, should be there next week.

My copy of CM 20 has a tiny glue spot. I guess it depends upon the quality of the glue which may dry out and leave very little residue behind. And as everyone knows or at least as I am guessing again, the mighty midgets were sold separately and can be found in pretty good shape with a stamp on the back. Anyway I have both and pretend they go together. That isn't a my scan however.

Looking forward to adding more rat chews to my collection Ze-man.

I would post my Captain Marvel 14 cover but it seems politically incorrect considering the damage due to the earthquake this weekend.

I still like Whiz 25 however.

And there is an early Whiz with a train being stopped by the big red cheese, which is the next best thing to a giant robot.

Have to love the painted covers from Captain Marvel Adventures. And that's a sweet copy. (thumbs u

I gotta go with this one for a favorite--

The guy that drew that cover is a solid artist:. But doesn't Captain Marvel Jr. have a slightly odd look on his face. It's like he's mid-orgasm and I just don't think that sort of thing is cool for little kids.

Bad post.

and I like seeing it get the respect it deserves.

It has it all, doesn't it?

Terrific yellow cover (yellow covers seem to have a strong following), hero/alterego, great reds, lightening.

Glad I found a copy for my run!

Me too - my only Whiz, which I think I first saw in Richard O'Brien's book:

Yes, that's my favorite Raboy cover. Wish I could have gone after the Church copy that went through Comiclink recently (was it last year or the year before?). This would have hit the stands February / March 1942 and summed up the countries outrage from Pearl Harbor. Great book. :applause:
