Dispite the mouse-eared cat, I always loved the colors on this book. Also the cover story itself is a classic being one of the few that take place at the HoM and involve Cain himself. Sweet top census book Sterling! :headbang:

I've got raw comics of most of my hg books for reading...high grade collecting is all about the show I'm afraid. I am finding that I'm getting more mid-high grade books for bang for the buck, though

Very few horror "keys" out there, especially in bronze age. The ECs, Tomb of Terror 15s, Eerie 1, etc. are my interpretation of horror keys.

I guess the answer is all the above. I've bought already certified (and paid dearly), purchased raw from zillions of sources (and gotten certified). In some cases, you are seeing the results of years of buying multiple copies before finding one worthy of certification. The books I'm showing now (with the exception of HOM 189) did not drop out of the sky and was purchased from multiple venues years ago. Patience and Dilligence...

The end game for me for the hg copies is certification, although I also have boxes of 7.0s-9.0s that are just as happy being "raw". Hope this helps; I have no one stop shop for this stuff.

Here are my 2 latest back from cgc.

House of Secret #83 9.4 universal, a one and only, highest graded, wooohooo! trailed by 6 9.2's!!!

And House of Mystery #174 9.2 universal w/white pages!!!

I did blank out the last few number on the HOS #83 cert number due to past people(unknown) attempting to add my books to there set.

Cool books!! #83 has been A LONG TIME WAITING in grade. That and HOM #205 finally break their 9.2 limit this year...FINALLY.

I'm not sure how folks are adding books from your sets, since they are obscured...oddly I get the problem 2-3 times a year but hardly a nuisance (and most of my sets are open). I've been guilty of adding books and then forgetting to buy them from the dealer. lol
