and with that scan, I think I'm gonna be sick. That's a good looking book there Joseph. I remember one of my friends telling me that book sold on eBay about 6 months before I officially got back into collecting...and I think you only paid around $500 for it.

 

I sold a 9.0 for $300 recently...

 

I dream of the day that someone starts certifying more copies...but that's the lone one on the census to this day.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I actually purcahsed this book about 13 years ago, at a CBG auction, for around maybe $65. I sold it in 2000, or 2001 for about $200, regretted selling it, and re-purchased it. For a much higher price (naturally).

What do you guys think? I feel like eventually many of these books will top out at 9.6, with a few a 9.8's. And maybe a few will have "only" a 9.4 as a high census copy, but again most coming in at 9.6
