Better investment? Hulk 181 or ASM 129

Ok, so I can get a Hulk #181 CGC 8.0 or an ASM #129 CGC 9.2 for exactly the same price. Purely from an investment standpoint - which one will fare better in the long haul? I'd appreciate your advice on this one... Thanks

I'd say the HULK #181 without looking at the price history. 1st WOLVIE is more popular than the 1st PUNISHER, and neither grade is rare for those books, so I don't think the grade is the deciding factor in this case.

Not too sure about this one.. I was going to say Hulk 181, but it seems prices have remained the same for the past 2-3 years or more on average.

181 is a better buy and it kills me to say that...

 

ASM 129 kicks Herb's chicken scratch art and weak as water story

any day of the week, but since it has the little mutant dude in a yellow suit

yep! that's what I said...

 

The characters are like wooden puppets in that issue and the hulks teeth are drawn so big

you would swear he had only five gargantuan teeth in his mouth. Trimpe has drawn way better

books and if I was him I would be embarrassed if that was the top book that I am famous for...

 

The only good thing to me about this book is that it's famous/infamous

and has a decent cover.

 

Other than that...

Hulk, without a seconds thought. Spidey 129 in 9.2 isn't HG enough to overcome the X factor

The art doesn't bother me as much as the story does.
