first comic book you ever bought

First comic bought of a newstand, Daredevil 231...first back issue, Daredevil 174...at the time I had no idea who Frank Miller was...just dumb luck I guess. Explains why I fell in love with comics and Daredevil in particular.

It wasn't new - maybe a year or so old. My Dad had been collecting since '62 so I already know what they were all about.

First comic I ever got (given to me by my Dad to try and get me away from Dungeons and Dragons) was an ASM 200. I then went back to the store and picked up 198 & 199 which were still there on the stands, so those were the first two I ever bought.

 

I'm not sure, but I think Dad may have regretted getting me into comics - I spent way more money on them than I ever did D&D.

Transformers 47. I bought it purely for the cover; I probably could have either ended up going to comics route or the Hentai route based on that. Probably good thing I chose comics...
