The time for talk is long past, so I'll type this instead. After nearly four months and 4686 votes, the FINAL round of the Ultimate Neal Adams Vintage Cover Poll has begun, right here in this thread. We started with 460 Neal Adams covers from 1967-1979. The boardies have narrowed down the count to these 39 final favorite covers presented here in chronological order after 14 preliminary and 5 semi-final rounds. The stakes now are monumental and enormous, as there can be only one grand champion cover as chosen by you, the CGC boardies.

:acclaim:

Please make a difference and do your civic duty as a comic fan by voting in this important vintage comic poll celebrating the work of this brilliant artist.

Every cover remaining is a winner. It is up to you to determine which covers are a cut above the rest. Vote count is set at 15.

Pick what you love, not what you think is popular. :cloud9:

Don't be shy with your comments. Let's hear why you made your choices. Influencing others with commentary is encouraged.

Cover Images are below in the next post. These covers are either going to put up or shut up as they fight for superiority. Who will rise to the top? hm Only you can decide.

Choose your 15 favorites in this final round.

No surprises yet as the favorites race to the front. Let's hear why you picked what you did. What sets your picks apart from the rest? I went with many of the usual suspects, but also found room for Superboy #160 and Tomahawk #116. Both very simple in my eyes, but extremely powerful at the same time.

The colors and especially the ink tones on Superboy really stand out for me in Superboy 160

I agree. I love that he hid Superboy's face in shadow. Unusual to hide the hero on a cover, but in this case, he is hiding by exiling himself to the moon. Just a great cover. (thumbs u

I love most of these covers, but I think people vote what they want or like more than what they they think is best.

I mean I look at Green Lantern 76, classic comic, it's a nice Green cover, but when I look at the detail of it compared to that beautiful limited collectors edition it's not even in the same league, obviously in terms of value and a comic people want the GL 76 wins hands over, but can't tell me that the art on that cover is beter than that limited collectors edition?

I personaly think

House of Secrets 88

Limited collectors edition C-51

Tommahawk 116

House of mystery 178

are a lot better that GL 76 and Batman 227 (blasphemy on here)
