Recommend me some Jim Steranko comics to get signed.

Hello everyone,

I am fairly new to the game of getting comics signed and sketched and all that and I am in the SW Ohio area. I will be attending the Cincinnati Comic Con coming up here in September, I have my VIP pass already, and I am working on a game plan to get the most out of the day when it comes to sigs and sketches.

From already asking on these boards I know that getting a sketch from Steranko is pretty much not going to happen, but I am looking to get his sig on some of his cooler Marvel covers.

I don't own any of his books and I am open to suggestions on what everyone thinks would be some of the best books to pickup to get signed.

Would love any suggestions and pics of the covers are a plus.

Also anyone going to be attending the Cincy show in Sept?

Thanks,

Brendan

That is a sharp cover. Adding this to the list of ones I am picking up.

My collection really doesn't focus on a certain age of comics so anything goes.

Keep them coming.

Also like that Strange Tales 159 alot.

Not sure if this is against the rules of the forum to ask this since I am getting great suggestions, but if anyone has unrestored raw copies of any of these suggestions in a 7.0 or better for sale PM me. I think I will aim to pickup 5 comics total to get signed by Steranko and done as SS by CGC.

Oh, come on now..

no brainer.

I never liked this cover. Too much white nothing.

True, it does, but everything about it screams late 60s, early 70s. The art style of the background is VERY emblematic of the trend in movie posters for the era; mono-chromatic imagery , etc.

It's a classic.

Black pen I think. I don't like silver or gold to much, sometimes they work, but I'm just fussy with when I use them lol

I think the best place to sign would be in black over the SHIELD ORIGIN ISSUE! lettering in between his legs. my 2c
