Where to eat in Chicago by the Con

33 posts in this topic

We are setting up a both at the Con for the first time this year. Any ideas of good places to eat near the Con?

Rob

May I suggest google, yelp, urban spoon, etc.?

I think Angelo's is a great idea.

A little pasta with some meatballs, some bread.

Cannoli's for dessert.

What time?

More like souvlaki, pasticho, feta, and LOTS of bread

Dessert would baklava or pantespani

As for time, I'll let you know

If you have transportation and the time and energy to do so, there are a ton of great restaurants in downtown Chicago (30 minute drive, or more depending on traffic on I-90). Chicago is a food-lover's paradise (good news for Greggy). :baiting:

Also, the CGC Forum Dinner on Saturday night is at Gibson's. It's lots of fun and as mentioned in other threads, a great opportunity to meet other boardies, check out some sweet key books and purchases, and eat a steak and a potato as big as your head. (thumbs u

See the thread about it in the Events Section:
