I don't see it that way either. I respect nocutename's expressing how she felt about it.

 

She expressed how she felt and and the same time started making demands and telling everyone exactly how she thinks things should be around here.

 

Misstating what actually happened does not help your case.

 

Stating opinion as fact does not help yours.

 

More irony, as you were the one who began this by stating your opinion ("she was making demands") as fact. I read the original post and I did not see anywhere that she "demanded" anything. She did not come in here and order people to stop, or else. Nor did she take the domineering tone of "This is how everything should be around here." That characterization is severely exaggerated. If you disagree, then by all means, quote or paraphrase the original post and show us why.

 

I am just letting you know that I reported your soft porn image to the mods. You seem to always have these pornographic images in your signature line which is offensive and not really comic book related now is it?

I recommend using the "ignore" function on me, it'll hide my sig line.

That isn't a viable solution for me. This isn't a sex forum and your images are highly inappropriate for a comic forum. I don't mean to use you as an example but you can blame it on the poster that took your image and posted it in its own topic. That was my catalyst. I can no longer stand by and allow these images to just be posted without any ramifications.

If those are the PMs, I go back to my original comment of if she had asked him nicely to delete them, this would probably have been a non-issue.

Same here! I feel bad that Jeannine had to go through all of this. Things were getting out of hand. Obviously, this has been bothering her for a long time. She spoke up, and look what she got in return.

Had she sent FF a PM saying something like, "Hey, the gif in your sig line is a little offensive. Would you mind changing it to something else?" my guess is that none of the events of the last 24 hours would have happened.

 

 

But that would not have felt like a Crusade. That would have been effective vs demonstrative.
