So, being a Marvel Zombie, DC deficient, and the fact that we were shopping for a table I debated a little bit before buying a JC Penny box of about 40 Detectives for $1 each.

 

NOTES: Edge, corner and spine wear. Staples are firmly set and rust free. Centerfold top notch. Pages CR to OW. Date stamp lower BC and right next to it a small moisture stain. What surprises me most is the colors and gloss on the FC - it's been 55 years and I don't think this book was ever in a bag but the colors and gloss are really nice.

4.0-4.5...leaning toward the lower grade because of LRFC and what looks like a stain/water damage on lower edge in rear...
