My adventure at the Geppi Museum yesterday!

Yesterday I went back down to the Geppi Museum with a group of people who had never been. I did go a month ago during a local anime con that was here, but since admission is only $5 on Tues/Thurs, I couldn't pass up another chance to go.

About a half hour after we get there, we felt the building move. Since the light rail is next to the building, everyone just shrugged it off. Then the shaking got worse, and when stuff started to actually fall down, we got the heck out of dodge. Everyone in the surrounding area were evacuated, and we stood around outside for about 30 minutes. I was pretty excited since this was my first time feeling an earthquake, so now I can check that off of my "Things To Do Before I Die" list.

We went back in and started a new game: Find the items that fell during the quake. It was a fantastic game, and I'm sorry you all missed it. After we left the museum, we went and got drunk in the Inner Harbor. The weather was perfect for it, and we felt the need to celebrate the earthquake. With alcohol.

And now, pictures from the museum.

..... :applause: ....

...but I have to wonder as well ,...how can they keep those books out in direct light without harming them???

Most likely, they use high quality glass like TrueVue Museum Glass -> 99%-plus UV protection and low glare / reflection (so great for viewing and photos).
