That is an amazing copy! But way over priced...

+1

I've been looking at that book for a while but the price is just crazy. That book won't sell at that price for years! It'll take 2 or 3 VERY successful movies for it to hit that price IMO.

Blazing Bob has this book on his site AVENGERS 3 ....I used to own it and it's one of the nicest 9.2's I've ever seen. GOD BLESS...

P.S. Whether we consider Diamond Run a bona fide pedigree or not, the CGC label says it is.

Nice book!!! I agree that the Diamond Run collection should be a Pedigree, but CGC no longer recognizes it :(

I actually saw that yesterday. No offense to anyone involved but I can't for the life of me understand how that got bumped to a 9.2?!? :o
I agree, I saw it and didn't understand how it was a 8.5 but like you said no offense. Whoever has that super press LMK lol.

Avengers #2 was a $7000-8000+ book just two years ago. Copies were selling for as much as $13,000 at one time. Even if it's a $6000-7000 as of last year, the Mass. copy doesn't sound too far off at $8500.

then matt is damn good at pressing. the chips on the top part of the front cover i assumed would never make it with a press.

Between the chips and writing, no way should that book be in a 9.2 holder IMO. I've been considering resubbing my 9.2 since it looks borderline for a bump without even a press. If that one got bumped to a 9.2, mine should be a 9.6!!! lol

the writing is the sure sign it's a winnipeg pedigree. the original owner signed his books.

When did he stop? I have a couple early BA winnipegs and I'm 99% sure they don't have any writing on them.
