Don't know if it's the camera angle, but, man, Jackie looks thin there.

Gleason was pretty thin even in the earlier Honeymooners shows(when it was part of the Cavalcade of Stars on the old Dumont network). He didn't start getting really heavy until 1954, just in time for the classic 39 Honeymooners episodes that have been rerun since then.
