S'funny. I was just reading my downloaded DC New 52s, and when I got to the Batman stuff, after the first couple pages I was like "I'm so sick of your gritty streets of Gotham !!!"

:(

Of course, I'm also spending this evening watching the new Batman: Year One cartoon...

Batman. I mean, seriously. Props to Superman for kicking the whole grand experiment off... but Bats is just so much cooler.

 

I'm not going to get into the whole comparing Batman and Spider-Man debate. Suffice to say, they're both richly complex, character driven heroes who exemplify SO much of what makes comics as great as they are.
