what's carrying the price of the Chuck set...is it the #1? I see a #3 right now for sale at buy it now for around $7....unless these guys are just yanking some chains and jacking up the price for fun.

well guess we'll see, if the set i have on there stagnates and doesn't sell at all then it's just a bunch of flim flammery. Though the series did end late late last month, so maybe there's some residual hotness for those that miss the series.

Thats interesting on the Justice League #1 (6th prints) I actually grabbed two of them off the shelves of a local store last week because I thought it was the 5th print and now I find out it is the 6th and going for so high. Anyone know how the actual first print is doing know a store with like probably 50-100 copies of first print for cover price.

This question might not belong in this thread but I'm not sure where else to ask it.

How do you know when a book is "heating up"? What signs so you watch for? Is it how often the book has sold? Is it how much the book sold for? Is it over a certain price range?

Currently I'm thinking if a book has 2 more more bids and a bid price of $10 or more than it might be heating up. Is there more than that?

If Branget isn't buying or talking about it, chances are it's not any where close to warm ;)

What is the deal with the Adventure Time 2nd print? I went to order a couple from lcs and was told only 3rd prints can be ordered now. Is the print run on 2nds that small? These are not due out until March. Oh, Chapel Hill is selling variants, I picked up 4:

if you sold yours for 10 cents a piece a few months/years ago...guaranteed it's blazing hot right now.

I hate to admit it, but it looks like the Vengeance of Bane is the hottest comic in America. I can't believe how many of these comics have sold in the last two months and the prices that even lower grade CGC copies are pulling in. If there's a 100k copies of this issue then there still may not be enough to satisfy the demand if the 3rd film is as good as the first two.
