The first appearance debates are sort of pointless anyway. You aren't going to change the market.

 

What are you talking about? Markets are changed and manipulate by all of US my friend. Some things take longer than others.

 

Your individual opinion means zero. You aren't going to convince the market that your precious previews are the books to own.

 

If you knew me you would know that my intention is not to change the market at all. I'm more of a collector than someone seeking a quick profit. But I also hate when things are misrepresented. I value the truth and in the dispersement of real comic knowledge. In this case Saga's main characters appear ( in color ) first in this issue of previews. I don't care if only you and your buddy Tom believe that to be true or if every seller and bidder in the online marketplace believes it. A fact is a fact.

 

First, hasn't this argument been beaten to death here recently? I wouldn't know, because I skipped those pages. Because the argument is moot.

 

Do you believe Stephen King collectors care whether or not "Carrie" (his 1st book) was first advertised in a magazine first, or whether they have the First edition. Or Silverage collectors caring whether or not they get the 1960's form for ordering Amazing Fantasy 15, because technically he appeared there first. No.

 

The truth is collectors want 1st prints. Perhaps "completionists" will want that Catalog. Quite honestly who cares.

 

Helheim = hott. There is a LOT of room to grow I think, but I am biased with my piddly investment. lol.

You are missing out. Blackacre has been very enjoyable so far, 5 weapons is a fun read and Sex was so-so but IMO worth a few issue read

 

I never read Spider-man and we will see on PP

Intellectual shadow boxing. For catalog collectors, you hold the holy grail. For comic collectors, not so much.

What's with all the extreme hate over PP? I'm not sure I'd be all upset if I had a stack of 9.6s or 9.8s right now....

Seems like the same broken record over and over again: "it's not worth that", "it's garbage", "it's all hype", "I don't like the art", yada...yada.....blah..blah.

 

This is a thread about things heating up, not the I don't dig it so I'll on it thread.

 

Just me going out on a limb, but folks that missed the boat seem to be piling up the sour grapes.

 

Can someone explain to me in simple terms why a comic that has been rock steady for months with nothing but increasing sales is such a "waste"?
